I feel odd after typing all that. LOL

That's so COOL the interview with David Pogue. Didn't know his history so it's great to know his background. And that guy who biked right behind Amber was like "what"? Pretty special.

@May - the biker was hilarious! I tried not to move!

@Amber, Glad to see your year working for CityNews International was put to good use in this episode, not many people would have not moved if a cyclist went past that fast and that close behind them. Plus that was a great interview with David Pogue, I didn't release that he used to write for MacWorld.

@Jeff, Some quick questions, if 3G does 3mbits and the networks are charge loads of money for the bandwidth plus capping it, how are they going to cope with the speed of 3.5G? Plus as more people start to use 3G/3.5G phones where is all the extra bandwidth capacity coming from? I don't think they have launch that many communications satellites lately, or have that many planned for the near future.

@Chris, Great filming and editing as always, plus glad to see, or rather hear, that the problem with the audio hum has been fixed.

@Snowball, so how many jobs do you actually have at commandN? Glad to see Amber and the team are keeping you busy.

Greetings Command N,
Thanks so much for highlighting my web application, Write or Die. I just wanted to let you know that the web address is actually http://lab.drwicked.com/writeordie.html not writeordie.com (that's actually a dead link .com that I wish I had).
Obviously you can't rerecord your show but if you could change the link in the shownotes that would be awesome.
Thanks so much again for featuring me, it's better than being on TV.

Hey CommandN,

I was wondering, now that you have Netflix as a sponsor, do you need to do the "WWW's" in order for Netflix to know where the audience is coming from. In all the other shows sponsored by Netflix, we are told that the "WWWs" are important. Yet at the end of your recent episode, you just put Netflix.com/CommandN.

So I have to ask: are the WWWs important?

Yes, Chris made a boo-boo. Since he's a video geek and not a tech geek (or at least not at my level ;-) ), he didn't realize that while you can mess around with the domain name, everything after a slash is usual handled in a Unix-y environment, which means that capitalization is very important, so...

/CommandN does NOT equal /commandn does NOT equal /commandN

...as to the "www", it depends on the browser, etc. - safer to include it.

Thanks for watching!

Jeff

The link "Passwords & Firefox 3 " has a space in the href, or url at the end much like my quote above ;-) This makes it boken
Here it is correctly:

Thanks for the great show and the hard work of putting that cell generations pdf together.

@Johnny - link is all fixed up, thanks!

Suggestion for Jeff--
I'd love to see a review of the new Sony Reader 700 (touchscreen, search), and, even better, a comparison of it with the Amazon Kindle (which I guess we can't get in Canada).

Love the show!

The night of the fight, you may feel a slight sting. That's pride f*cking with you. F*ck pride. Pride only hurts, it never helps.
