See, I would have added in the small print that he must have the white coat on for the entire conference.
Great episode, off now to make some lego before wifey makes me mow the lawn.

@Ian: I had actually *brought* the lab coat in my suitcase, "just in case", but it was back in the hotel room. I didn't expect to accidentally wander into the commandN shoot that afternoon. :)

@mike Very cool. Perhaps a video update on your search for 'bot powering bwwwwains?

You probably have already seen this, but I thought I would mention it just in case.
The new video for Weezer's "Pork and Beans" is made up of the band and several "internet celebrities" re-enacting popular YouTube videos (Chocolate Rain, Leave Britney Alone, Numa Numa, Will it Blend, etc). It's a lot of fun.

A simple YouTube search will find it.

It was good to see Jeff on dry land. I thought the novel use of lip reading for Amber‘s side of the Blip.tv interview was very brave of you.
Each episode makes us want to have more.

I made a complete breakdown of the Pork and Beans Video if your interested. http://jamiejamez.blogspot.com/2008/05/weezer-pork-and-beans-breakdown.html

Hey Amber, you're on the front page of Techcrunch today!
Okay, so, on a video, on the front page:
Idée: TinEye Image demo.

Thx for all the links! As for being on Techcrunch via TinEye, we are good friends with the TinEye founders so MGImedia was happy to help them out!

Dear Jeff:
Please keep your political comments to yourself. It was a good show though.

Dear Jeff and Amb:
LOVED the political comments.
Bring it on, no self censorship.

Jeff:
What do you think the $300 billion farm subsidy bill the Democrat-lead Congress just passed over Bush's veto? It doesn't seem the other party is that good either.

I heard you talking about Disqus on net@nite and maybe implementing it on CommandN. I say go for it. The disqus commenting system is awesome.

Just wondering if anyone else is having problems getting this episode from itunes. I keep getting an "authorization is needed" message. I'm wondering if it's a problem at my end.

I kind of get where Jeff is coming from with the iTunes vs other services comment but iTunes doesn't really cater for many people without iPods.
I'm not an Ipod hater and I've really close to buying one but I do tend to listen to the radio as well as music and podcasts on the move so I tend to opt for players with a built in radio. which means apart from a few unprotected aac files that are purchasable the iTunes store won't serve my needs.
Also there's a huge market of lower priced players out that support mp3 and wma (unprotected) and owners of those units only have the choice of ripping CDs or getting their music by other means...
This could change as aac (unprotected) support finds it's way into cheaper players though.

You're from Canada...Who cares about what you think about American politics.

Another great episode guys, thanks! Wondering what's up with the weird video though now that I GUESS you've gone to 16x9, kind of, since all the graphics are still 4:3, but also for me the 16x9 stuff is actually smaller, and I have black borders all around the video now (it doesn't fill the screen!) I'm downloading the iTunes h264 version. What's the deal?

Hey just so you guys know, Sean Fanning is no longer affiliated with Napster... You probably knew this but mentioned something about best of luck to him in the video while he's off on newer, better, legal, excursions.

Thanks for all the comments everyone.
In terms of political comments, we do shy away from these but I can assure you that I would deride all parties equally if the right opportunity for a joke came up (NOTE: That joke wasn't planned at all, so no agenda there). :-)
DD: Also, don't forget that iTunes does sell iTunes Plus files without DRM and then it's easy to use iTunes to convert these to another format for play on any player (or not even have to convert them for AAC-compatible players).
AARON: We're working on getting our opening graphics 16:9 so that the problem you are citing does not occur. We're working out all the kinks in our transition to widescreen for our 3-year anniversary in about a month's time.
Thanks for watching!
Jeff
