Jeff sounds much better. It's a good thing he doesn't need the Tweety Tissues.
It would have been nice to see more of the studio than the book case and a few frames on the wall.
Perhaps a shot by the window to give the appearance of being out of doors.
Do you ever go back to some of the earlier episodes to see how you've all changed?

I went to trans code the ipod video to a lower resolution that my PSP can play and discovered that it was already in a suitable resolution, 320x240! Yay! I hope this a trend!

I like to give an alternative to Will's webpick its called pizzatorrent.com
It will do the same search as youtorrent, but put the search-results into categories like Movies, Cartoons etc.
Just a tad better then youtorrent results

@Amber, that was a very nice and subtle hint for the new version of http://AmberMac.com
@Jeff, Some questions about the MBP, Did you get the Glossy or Matt screen? and Why? Mainly doing webdesign and video editing. Thanks
@Will, So we are already partying in the comments, but when will the first 'Party on the Roof' be at your new place?
@Amber & Jeff, Thanks for the link to feng-gui.com, just hope I don't have to redesign all my sites now, but is it as accurate as the Eye Tracking that you do at MGImedia.com?
So if Charlie Rose tripped on a pothole in New York, how much do you think he will get when he sues New York City for damages?
@Brian, Hi, could you please film Amber doing her version of the Natalie Portman rap song, that sounds really funny, Thanks

Sorry forgot to say, still on sign to ep127 in iTunes in the UK, how comes its taking so long for commandN to get on there. All of Leo's, CNet and Revision3 come up straight away. This is not a complaint, was just wondering. Thanks

Hey there guys,
Another great episode. Amber the studio seems great.
As for the olympics don't forget that they were held in Germany during Hitler's rule and not much really was written about the atrocities that were being committed at the time...as far as I know. Hopefully that will change this time around but I'm not holding my breath.

Excellent show. Congrats on the new, beautiful office!

STEVE: I got the Matte screen because...
1. As someone who creates or evaluates a lot of design work, I want to be looking at a screen that most accurately reflects what others would be looking at.
2. I don't want to have to risk having too much glare on the screen if I'm working in bright surroundings.
...If I were just buying for my own personal use and didn't worry about the glare, I might consider the Glossy screen, as it probably looks better in a lot of circumstances, but I can't say firsthand.
Talk soon,
Jeff

@Steve - nope, that site is not as accurate as eye-tracking in a lab.
Posted by: Amber Mac | March 23, 2008 at 03:28 PM
@Jeff, Thanks, Good point about matte more accurately reflects what others would be looking at. Guess I better keep saving.
@Amber, I tried Feng-GUI with a picture of you, sorry, http://www.flickr.com/photos/ambermac/2197625227/
It picked up the areas on either side of your head, plus an area where, will where most men would look, but didn't pick up your eyes at all.
I've put it up on Facebook along with some other website heatamaps - www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2537804&id=645850261
I would have though that the eye would have been picked up by the software that Feng-GUI.com use. Wouldn't real eye tracking have gone straight to the eyes? The other website test where pretty interesting though.
Did you know that Feng-GUI.com have a FireFox Extension?
Again Sorry for using the image of you to test the site with

Hey guys, congrats for the great show.
Unfortunately, I prefer audio feeds as I don't have as much time to listen to video content as much as audio content (I usually listen to my podcasts in the car) Could it be possible to get an audio RSS feed of commandN?
Thanks for your help!

I was not going to post my website yet (bought it with the promo code) but as Amber really likes Sweden thought this was a good time do put it up here. holidayaday.net. I am new and it is still a little rough so if you go and look at it please be kind.
@commandN team love the show as always and thanks for the wonderful job!

Thx Jeff,
I was thinking about getting the macbook Pro with 128mb vid card for $1799. Bestbuy in Canada has them still. I do website dev with dreamweaver, fireworks and will need to run windows in vmware. Do you think i could get away with 128mb or should i save for the 256. HD space and ram are fine at 2gb and 120gb.
cheers

NABIL: We'll look into getting that MP3 feed up - thanks!
JEFFREY J: Cool site, congrats! It would be good for you to add some images, though, especially given the subject matter (should be some really nice photos floating around the web for you to use). Just some friendly advice :-) .
MIKE: You're probably okay with the 128MB video card - I don't think it'll have much of an impact on your type of work and I seriously considered that model as well.
Thanks for the comments everyone!
Jeff

Long time watcher, first time poster, lol. I just wanted to say your show is awesome. I am big into tech and decided that I needed to get involved in a community, so here I am.
@Amber Did you see TechCrunch's post on female podcast? How could you not be included. I would rate you #1 as did the VitaminCM site.
@Jeff I think you maybe my new role model to some degree. I find it extremely difficult to manage time between work and family, let alone with my technolust. Yet you seem to do it with class.
@CommandN You all seem busy in life pursuing other goals. Why did you guys start CommandN, and why are you still filming it when it seems you have many other areas to deal with in life?
@Will - Your Cool
@Amber whats the problem with "supposedly" dropping the F Bomb? There is nothing wrong with having good culture in life. How many people use it everyday. I never went back to see exactly what went on but there seems to be a lot of hype about it.
Long post I know, but I love your show and look forward to seeing more, plus Canada is awesome!

I've found that instead of adding the code on the end of the YouTube url manually, you can change the default video quality type in your account settings.

I also find it weird that techcrunch didn't include Amber's commandn show..

@lsmo: Thanks, cool link!
@SteveintheUK: I'm thinking early May :)
@Neondog82: You're cool!

@Vance - I don't get any play on Techcrunch, but that's entirely OK cause it's nice to fly under the radar ;). Maybe I scared M. Arrington when we met in person last year? LOL!
