And he also let the world know his email address. The Dylan URLs include email addresses which is a little worrying for some.

At first I thought Amber was holding a stuffed animal! Very cute little pooch. Incredibly relaxed, too. :)

Good news, the stolen Mac has been returned! The dude, who is "known to police" in Victoria, gave it to the cops after his lawyer saw the article

Thanks Jeff for explaining video encoding. Will you be posting that chart you were using?

Amber Mac You really made I day.
Everything was working find. Loss Audio from my iPod Touch But as of today I have loss all audio from iPod Touch. I have tried using several other Headphones I own and still I could not get any Audio from iPod Touch. I have preform a Complete reset restore, in Erasing all media, Resetting network, and keyboard settings. And Still no luck.
I wonder if The loss audio from my iPod Touch was from static electricity?? I remember rubbing my feet across my living room Carpet. And I got shock while holding iPod Touch last night. Over night I left my touch on all night to drain the internal battery.
This morning the very first thing, I Jump out of my bed and went to my computer desk to turn my IPod touch. I could here the sound effects sounds through the cheap ear bubs that came with the touch. Then I went online to TWiT.tv to download SN netcast. And I was able to hear Leo and Steve Voices. YEAH! Then just to make sure that everything was working. I head over to CommandN. And Amber Mac Voice came in Loud in Clear in living Stereo. Double YEAH! I am still planning to call Apple care and the ball rolling to get it replaced.

Enjoyed your segment, Jeff. I wish I had your job.
Has there been any rumors about when HD content (besides movie trailers) will be released for iTunes? Also, are there any people out there recording off-air HD broadcasts and using an AppleTV to serve it up? I'll be getting one in the coming month and I don't subscribe to cable, so I was looking for some kind of solution.

Thanks Jeff. No need to apologize for the delay...You guys are doing great job.

I haven't heard much about HD content (aside from movie trailers) for iTunes, but there's GOT to be something in the pipeline.
That said, you can still encode content in HD (720p) and watch it on the Apple TV (although it won't play on iPods), but nothing in the iTS.
This is still a fairly weak point (at least for anyone with an HDTV) in the iTunes Store, so I hope it's rectified soon.
AND I wish they'd let us Canadians buy some content in the first place! :-)
Thanks for watching,
Jeff

Amber, Will, or Jeff,
We have several US National Parks interested in videopodcasting. What are you thoughts on the new AVCH format? Are you shooting in HI-Def? Also, what lapel mics do you use for commandN and do they plug right into your camcorder?
Appreciate your advice and help.
Thanks
Chad

Chad,
I have not had too much experience with the new AVCH format but from what I read it looks decent.
We currently shoot on DVCAM and not HD.
The mics we use are Sony UTX-B1. They patch directly into our PD170 via XLR.
Good luck with your project.
