Dear Amber,
I have enjoyed your show for the last year or so. The last 2 weeks it has been difficult for me to view it since you increased the size of your window. My feed is not fast enough for it unless I let it download for an hour and then when I play it the sound and image are not syncronized. For the same reason I have stopped watching Webb Alert and Loaded.
Best wishes Tom L'

Wow! What an improvement of last week. The sound was great, the content well rounded and informative. The editing was very professional, especially the inserted video overlays.
Even though the background traffic noise was noticeable, it added to the 'in the street' feel rather than distracting from it.
Great work all around.

I download the H264 file to read on VLC. It takes a few seconds. The feed for the previous user must be a 1200 baud phone modem.

Nice show again :)
I haven't seen it for a while. Shame on me!
But loved the last 2 episodes :)
small typo with 'for president' ;)
Keep it up! :D

@Rene - Great, glad you are enjoying the show (fix the typo, BTW!).

What's up with the sound disappearing at around 5:55 (at the techTIPS segment) in the MPEG4 version?
Posted by: Søren Hugger Møller | August 09, 2008 at 07:58 AM
OK, strange. The sound only disappears when playing the file on my PS3 :S
Playing it through Miro on my PC and there is no problems... Very strange.

@Me
Canada - The US, it's all the same in our big ol' global family. Besides, we Canadians have been following the election with interest because the President of the United States has an impact on the whole world.
I'm sure President Hilton will make every effort to further cement the relations between our two countries.

Excuse me but Obama said this first he quoted Andy Warhol that every one has 15 minutes of fame and he has had 1 hour and a half just like Paris Hilton so he said this first and then McCain did an add after Obama did this.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Just a couple of weeks until our 3-year anniversary episode, and we hope to have a few more improvements by then too!

@Chris D
The PSP version plays without any audio loss, but the resolution isn't pretty on an HDTV. I think I'm gonna try out the Xbox 360 WMV version.

MPEG4 and H.264 are the only feeds that gets updated?
Posted by: Søren Hugger Møller | August 10, 2008 at 04:29 AM
Minor tweeks paying off, the show is looking and sounding quite polished. Well Done.

@Søren Hugger Møller
Which version are you playing on a PSP? I've never gotten any of the versions to work. I just tried again with this episode, downloading the .mov, .mp4 and .m4v versions - none would play on my PSP. Thanks!

Wow,
Just watched 143 and it rocked! I'm not quite sure what it was, but the show was great!
Very pro. Jeff was great, love Rahaf and Amber. You two work very well together.
Keep up the great work. I really love your show and have been watching you for some time now, no really.

NBC is not the only one to put the 2008 Beijing Olympics online.
There is CBC Television's version of Live Streaming on their Internet web site at http://www.cbc.ca/olympics/livevideo.
You have more choice of events to view in real-time than on traditional television.

http://www.cbc.ca/olympics/livevideo is the correct web page link.

@Ranceman I'm not playing on a PSP , I'm playing on my PS3. I'm playing the MPEG4 version. And apart from the audio issue it plays fine - I hope the audio issue was just this week :).

Great show! I have been watching almost since you began and am continually impressed.
I'm sure at some point Jeff will do a segment on great iPhone apps. You've probably already seen these, but the Pandora Radio App, Shazam, and Remote are the best ones I've found. I look forward to seeing your picks.
