Bravo guys! What a great episode - Will, it's great to see you back on.
I can't believe you sat there in the snow!!! You guys are brave. Us Texans are having spring/summer like weather and I must say, I'm a bit jealous.
It's on February after all!
Good Job,
Jeff McCord

Hey,
Thanks for letting me get in the CommandN shoot. It made the long trek through the snow worth it :)

hey will: now that you've left concept share where will the young liberal minded university student and citizen of the world go?

Hay
Just click on the above links as I wait for this episode to download and found that the link to the 'Number of Tech Stories on Digg Is Dropping Rapidly' is not working.
I think the link may be this story on Mashable

Oh, and why is it taking so long for the feed on iTunes to update, its Sat 8am UK time, and no Ep 121 on UK iTunes Yet. Not complaining, just wondering.
Off to watch to episode now

@Jeff, Congrats on the birth of the Twins,, Sorry I'm a bit late, have been offline since early Thursday.
Hope to see them co-hosting commandN soon.

Best setting for an episode in ages :). Gotta point out the obvious though... was there any chance Amber wasn't wearing a mic during the Amber/Will segments?
Thanks for the heads-up on the Monopoly thing; they did one of these in Australia last year and my state came in second :)
And of course congrats to Jeff & Robin on the new additions.
And Brian, my complements on an excellent name choice for your own little one ;)

Feuding sells copy.
Mikey vs. Will would not sell as well as Will vs. Mikey. I think the vanquished serves better as the underdog.
Perhaps an episode with just the two of them with Amber reporting in from some tropical clime?
The snow effect was magnificent. What software did you use to create it?
I can't wait for episode 2212!

Thanks for all the good wishes on the babies, everyone!
They and Mommy are doing just fine, although our house seems to have gotten a little smaller while we were delivering :-) .

One of my favorite shows! Can't wait for episode 0x7A! And Amber's natural hair, no makeup look is a definite winner.

I call the snow fake. An excellent episode as usual! Many thanks! BTW, it's 75 degrees F down here.

Best commandN quote to date: "He got, uh, like 88 percent, which is almost like . . . nine...ty . . . percent of his money online!"

1. Please go inside.

I agree with the comment about Digg. In fact, an article posted on Digg says that 58% of users never click on the stories they digg. See it here http://www.digg.com/odd_stuff/58_of_Digg_users_don_t_even_ckick_on_the_story_before_digging

Great episode and well done for braving the snow!
Posted by: Ben Griffiths | February 11, 2008 at 12:43 PM
nice work! good to know that a snowstorm won't keep you away from the camera and a mike.
One issue - episodes 120 and 121 from iTunes couldn't be played on my iPhone... had to convert them myself using VisualHub to get them to play.
Keep up the good work!

Great podcast as usual! Please fix the lapel/boom microphone problem as Amber has been difficult to hear for the last few episodes. Thanks!

Call me old fashion (I worked for "the senior service" ... you know, Mother Corporation ... /CBC Radio/, of course!) but when the audio sucks makes me strain then the show sucks I find myself wondering what else I could be doing with my time. "Control N" is one option, but so is "Control W".
A $15 clip-on mic from RadioShack or whatever they call themselves now ... and a little of post-production EQ ... c'mon, don't we deserve at least AM quality?

Congratulations on the win!

@Ben. We always use to wireless lavs, but one of them crapped out halfway through the show in the middle of a snowstorm. We're totally with you re: good audio, but under the circumstances we were outta luck.
If you check out past eps, you'll see we're usually A-OK on this front.
Thx for watching!
