Comments

Before anyone comments about it - yes we had an audio problem this week.

Our mic was getting some major interference from a nearby construction site.

Episode 92 will have clean audio again (shooting at the MESH Conference).

-Brian

Amber - I guess it must be after Labour Day over there then, or is that just the USA. Can't believe you sat down on an old bench wearing white trousers? Are we going to see you in a full white outfit next week then?

Jeff, the search tip for numbers was very useful, but how can you search for date, ie. August 1998 and November 1998, if you have any ideas I would be grateful.

Brian, only audio problem was a bit of wind noise which is always a problem when filming outside with a boom mic.

Will, you really need to stop thinking about Grandma's cookies, although Grandma's do always make the best chocolate chip cookie's.

All, another great show, have you started planning the live recording of show 100 yet, and are you going to show the recording live on either Stickam or UStream?

Take Care and all the Best

Steve

grandma innuendos =P

Yes Amber free is good, very good. I want me some chocolate chip cookies and lasagna, me hungry. Neat show today, really appreciate the super content I always get on CommandN. :-)

Hi Steve,

Good question about the dates - I'll have to get back to you on this as I'm not sure how to do it offhand.

PS: We've started some ideas for our anniversary ep for sure!

Jeff

We HAVE to do something for 100, so I hope that Jeff can come to T.dot!!!

He's in Sri Lanka now and I'm trying to get him on Skype, wish me luck ;).

-Amber

I'll do my best!

bring in Leo and Mike for the 100th ep!

...or Amber in a bikini!

hey Jeff where did you get the reboot t-shirt from?

I got it from working at Mainframe Entertainment, creators of Reboot. Still have a bunch of pals there!

Jeff

Jeff, I didn't know you worked at Mainframe, I have a bud from Vancouver Neil Bruder who used to work there.

Reboot was sweet, I wish the Spiderman cartoon was continued, it had such potential.

Hey everyone!

We are late this week cause Brian and his wife Barb had a little commandN baby boy ;).

We will post a new episode next week. Thx for your patience!

-Amber

Brain, Congrats on the baby boy

I was starting to wonder where this weeks commandN was

Has your new son got an email/domain address yet? Don't new babies come with them pre-installed now days? Plus I hope he's going to be Mac compatible?

Oh and don't worry Brian, you get a full nights sleep again in around 2 or 3 years time.

Hope all is going well with both wife and child.

Take Care

PS, Amber, how comes you posted the comment about Brains new baby at 6.40am?

Have a great weekend in Banff at NEXTMedia, but does that meant NO Net@Nite this Sunday?

This waiting for Webnation to come up on the CityNews website, but hope it went alright.

L&L

WILL: I've actually been watching the Mainframe Spiderman cartoon over here in Sri Lanka. It's my favorite thing they've done since War Planets/Shadow Raiders (2 different names for the same cartoon b/c some jurisdictions won't allow you to have the word "War" in a children's show title, if you can imagine that!).

Jeff

anaheim got the cup!

Brian, congrats to you and your wife on Bamcat Jnr :-)

Phil

Jeff, found this tip about search dates with Google on the dumblittleman.com

"9. Numrange. This little-known feature searches for a range of numbers. For example, ["best books 2002..2007] will return lists of best books for each of the years from 2002 to 2007 (note the two periods between the two numbers)."

url = http://tiny.pl/fw73

It searches by years but I haven't worked out how to search by months yet.

Hope all is going well in Sri Lanka

Cool, Steve - thanks for the addition!

Jeff
