Hey guys and gal. Past few weeks have been problematic for downloading your shows direct links take forever to start and are slow going. And the torrents are without seeds from start of the week, to the end. I think I ws the only seed for the quicktime Ep29 the whole time. Just one dedicated seed would make a huge difference IMO.
Love the shows though. Keep them coming ... jsut make sure we can get them! lol

Pete,
Their tracker doesn't support the scrape protocol so you don't see how many seeds there are. For instance, I just finished downloading this week's episode and Azureus is saying 0 seeds. Yet I know there are other seeds because I can see how much each peer has downloaded from other people besides me in the "from others" column.

The direct downloads are a little slow within the first few hours after we release, but we appreciate your patience and we're glad you keep on watching! :)

I've been ratted out. She's got the Hak.5 password now! Oh no, our servers are doomed!
Thanks for the plug guys. Great episode as always.

First of all: Very nice episode once again :)
And... I'd say 3-5 cameras
About the whole iTunes-content for US-citizens. I don't how stupid the situation is with the Canadian store but at least the difference between the US and the Austrian store is ridiculous. (1) there are no free songs in the Austrian store, (2) many bands like for example Seether don't have a single track in there while I can get everything in the US store ... I could, if they'd allow it somehow to get those tracks. In this sense I also think that their "gift this music" thing would have been nice for solving this problem, but you can't even gift something to someone not living in the same country.
About thinkvitamin.com: What's actually the difference to the WSG? ;)

Newsvine sounds great....call me when I can get into it.

I like Mike's comment about not very many people have a good green website. I think the same goes for orange. The transitions in the show make excellent use of orange though.

I have a couple comments about this latest show:
1.) Unable to Buy shows from Canada: An iTunes gift certificate is the surest way around this. If you get a gift card from the US, you can set up a US account and download the shows.
2.) Postal Service/iTunes debacle: There is definitely NO "deal" between the two. The Postal Service released a statement on their website conveying their disappointment that their music video was ripped off. In addition, this isn't the first time Apple has ripped someone off. They also ripped off a "Lugz" commercial last year. Here's a link: http://adweek.blogs.com/adfreak/2005/10/applelugz_flap_.html

The iPod version on iTunes is messed up. On 2:26, The video stops and the only sound I hear is static, But the progress bar keeps going.
Maybe its just me, Ill try to download it again.

I am having trouble putting up artist and photo information on our school newspaper's iTunes podcast page. We use Macs and so cannot download many programs and the codes have not worked. If someone could help, this would be appreciated greatly.
Thanks,
Abi

So who is your friend or fan over at DC comics?
I'm paging through the last issue of Adventures of Superman, that is #648, and what do I see? There are a group of kids breaking into a hifi-store wearing CommandN and Twit-jackets.
Posted by: Joppe | January 27, 2006 at 05:12 AM
WOW! We made it into Superman? Crazy!
Picking up the issue today. Will try to get a scan of the page up this weekend.
Thanks for the info Joppe!

Joppe - Thanks SO much for the heads up on the commandN appearance in Superman!
To show everyone how quickly moving we are here at commandN ;-) (and how useful your feedback is) I shot a spotLIGHT segment for our next episode today at a legendary comic shop in Halifax and interviewed the owner, Cal Johnston (who gave us a free copy of the Superman comic in question!), on how the digital age is affecting comics.
I used to be huge into comics (I stopped as Gaiman's Sandman wound down), so it's wonderful to see that we have been included into that world (many thanks to the artist who included us!), and also great to know that there are comic fans out there that enjoy commandN!

I live and work in the surveillance capital of the world-- London. Walking to the bus stop I appear on a town center CCTV plus a number of store security cams. The bus itself will have CCTV. I'm picked up by a number of cameras at the train station, and a few on the train itself. Arriving in central London camera density increases dramatically as I enter the London Underground. I probably am tracked on at least twenty more cameras that monitor the walkways, ticket gates, escalators, platforms and inside the carriages. Walking from the tube station to work at street level I'll be picked up by a couple traffic cameras, and then finally at work I'll pass by a number of building security cameras. Total probably exceeds fifty.

Hey Amber,
Can you recommend a great FREE FTP application for the mac that has more rich features than "transmit" and "fetch" on your next rounds of "web picks of the week"?
Keep up all the good work with your podcast!
