I downloaded the H.264 version via iTunes but apparently, my 5G iPod won't support it. Is this normal? Should I opt for the inferior MPEG4 instead?

Rom,
If you are downloading for your iPod it best to go with our iPod formatted version of commandN. Try http://206.51.230.104/EP25/commandN-25-iPod.m4v it should work perfectly on iPods.

Mikey mentioned that its a proprietary version of linux. I don't think it's proprietary. It is open source. It is custom though, and is based on Red Hat Linux.

Apple still has not added our iPod feed to iTunes yet so you will have to manually add it yourself:
feed://feeds.feedburner.com/commandN_iPod_feed
This weeks episode is not showing up yet but should be fixed soon.

Actually, I think Mike's hair has gotten over its bad hump and is naturally looking better in recent weeks. Sure, it had a long "in-between" stretch, but we all suffer through that (as I'm sure you can see in some of my earlier segments :-) ).
